This jacket was my first tailoring project that I made for myself. I started by draping it on a dress form in muslin. The main body of the jacket is basically a vest, but with a cape attached at the shoulder. The body and cape are both fully lined.

The lining fabric is an iridescent polyester twill, and the shell is bone grey Italian mohair.
